Strong Quake Hits Iran, at Least 80 Dead: "TEHRAN (Reuters) - A strong earthquake hit southeast Iran on Tuesday morning, killing at least 80 people, injuring hundreds and destroying villages, officials said.

The earthquake, which measured 6.4 on the Richter scale, was centered on the town of Zarand in Kerman province, about 440 miles southeast of Tehran. "
