Subject: Announcement in support of the political prisoners held in Islamic republic prisons.
From: Members of the Swedish parliament and the other organization of the liberal party (Folkpartiet Liberalerna)
After nine weeks hunger strike in Rajieh Shahr prison by Iranians dissident political prisoners, the government of Islamic republic has changed the prisoners’ locations and made their life more - and more - difficult,
the political prisoners have now being held in solitary confinement, instead of assessing their actual needs and demands.
The President of the Islamic Republic is talking about violation on humane rights in the United States and Europe. He is doing so while - a cruel truth - the political prisoners in Iran live under the worst conditions possible.
The political prisoners held without any form of legal custody, are under constant physical and psychological torture; nobody cares about their medical care, food or even personal security.
Recently, The Chairman of the board of Transport Union Mr. Mansour Osanlo has been arrested and taken from his home to an unknown prison. Nobody, included his legal attorney and his family, have been informed about the conditions he has met and where he is.
This way to act, intervene with the spirit and air to everything that is connected with what civilized persons and peoples think is humane and right - and interfere with the air, spirit and legal rules in humane political rights.
More over, most of the political prisoners has been transferred to the cells of prisoners of heavy crimes. That means people convicted for murder, drug abuse, drug smuggling, etc.
According to different reports, at least one among the political prisoners has died after fighting each other every month, also drug addiction, contagious dermatological diseases and deadly illnesses such as AIDS and Hepatitis are common among Iranian prisoners. This cause death to Islamic prisons every day.
Political prisoners as Afshin Baimani, Valiyollah Feyz-Mahdavi, Amir Hossein Heshmat Saran, Arjan g Davoodi, Yaser Majidi, Heydar Noroozi, Hojjat Zamani, Asad Shaghaghi, Behrooz Javid Tehrani, Mehrdad Lohrasbi and Alireza Karam Kheyrabadi are in current hunger strike in order to protest against the inhumane treatment and conditions of living of the political prisoners in Iran. They demand an inspection of the prisons in Iran by an International Committee.
We, Members of Swedish parliament and other organizations of the Liberal Party, fully support the demands of these brave political prisoners and are extremely concerned about the health and illegal imprisonment of them and all other political prisoners held in inhuman condition, in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
We ask you to send a delegation from International Red Cross to inspect the Islamic republics prisons and meet with the prisoners and their families, and inform the world about their conditions.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Yours Faithfully
